Macintosh:
If you're a Macintosh user, and have an OS newer than 8, you can use CarlPaper as your desktop background. Just select Macintosh as your operating system, and the proper color depth, then save the resultant image file, and set it through the Desktop Picture control panel (or the Appearance control panel in OS 8.5 or newer). If you don't have OS 8 (or 8.1, or 8.5, etc.), you'll either have to buy such an OS, or buy/download a third party package that lets you use entire images as the desktop pattern.

Windows:
If you're a Windows user, and are using Netscape 3.0 or higher, choose Macintosh as your operating system, and either grayscale or color for color depth; then click the [Give me my CarlPaper] button. When the image loads in, right click on it and select "Set as Wallpaper" from the pop-up menu.

If you aren't using Netscape 3.0 or higher, select Windows as the operating system, and the proper color depth for your monitor; then, click the [Give me my CarlPaper] button. This will take you to another page, where you will receive more instructions.
